A new luxury hotel and casino in Orlando has been announced for the Orlando area.
The $1 billion facility will be a joint venture between developer J.A.C. Johnson and Titan Construction, a joint effort between the Florida-based real estate company and the Orlando-based architectural firm of Arup.
It will feature a three-level building and hotel totaling 1,250,000 square feet, according to a press release from Titan Construction.
It will also include more than 200,000 sq. ft. of office space and retail space, the release states.
The building will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a 30-minute walk from downtown Orlando to the convention center, the press release states, adding that guests can also choose to have breakfast, lunch, dinner or brunch at the new property.
It’s a sign of the growth of the new hotel in the Orlando market, with many of the top hotel brands including Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott and Four Seasons all currently operating in the region.
The announcement comes just months after the construction of a luxury hotel in downtown Orlando, which was opened by Marriott.
In June, the hotel and other property was completed with a price tag of $1.7 billion.
The project is part of the larger Downtown Orlando development that has been going on for years.
